Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee attended the opening ceremony of the Ethnic Boarding School

On the morning of September 5, the Ethnic Boarding School (Ham Thang Ward, Lam Dong) held the Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026. Comrade Vo Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department attended and shared joy with teachers and students of the school.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have nearly 937 students enrolled in 28 classes, including 327 students who passed the entrance exam for grade 10, the majority of whom are ethnic minority students from the southeastern region of the province.

During the 2024-2025 school year, the school achieved many outstanding results: the overall quality of education improved, the percentage of students with good and excellent grades increased by more than 11% compared to the previous year; the number of students with good and excellent conduct also increased. The student promotion rate reached 99.89%, and 100% of 12th-grade students passed the high school graduation exam.

The school has 4 teachers who have received the title of Excellent Teacher at the provincial level, and 14 initiatives and projects that have been applied in practice. Notably, for 10 consecutive years, the school's high school graduation rate has always been higher than the provincial average.

Ceremony to welcome new students

Entering the 2025-2026 academic year with the theme "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development," the school is determined to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of comprehensive education, focusing on training teachers and administrators, and promoting digital transformation in teaching and learning.

Comrade Vo Thanh Binh presented scholarships to students who overcame difficulties and excelled in their studies.

On this occasion, Comrade Vo Thanh Binh, along with representatives from the sponsors, presented 37 scholarships to underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties, further motivating them to confidently move forward in the new school year.

At the opening ceremony, the school and delegates attending the ceremony were broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television as part of the program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Education and Training and the opening of the new school year 2025-2026. This is the first time that all educational institutions nationwide will raise the flag and sing the national anthem at the same time during the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026.
