This afternoon, MMA will feature three important fights: in the men's under 65kg category, Quang Van Minh will compete against a Malaysian opponent; in the men's under 60kg category, Tran Ngoc Luong will face an Indonesian opponent; and in the women's under 54kg category, Duong Thi Thanh Binh will compete against an Indonesian opponent.
Encouraging the entire team, Head of Delegation Nguyen Hong Minh shared that this is the first time MMA has been included in the SEA Games 33 competition program. Therefore, the fighters need to compete with comfort and confidence, demonstrating the chivalrous spirit of the Vietnamese people as well as the spirit of fair play in sports .
Team leader Nguyen Hong Minh also reminded the entire team to take care of their health, especially the fighters who are cutting weight, so that they can be in the best condition when competing.

On behalf of the entire team, Head Coach Mai Thanh Ba promised Team Leader Nguyen Hong Minh that they would enter the competition with readiness and confidence to achieve the best possible results.
Although MMA is a relatively new sport in Vietnam, it is steadily developing with professional organization. This is also the first time Vietnamese fighters have competed in the region's biggest arena, so the entire team is even more determined to bring joy and pride to martial arts fans in their country.
