From August 18, more than 100 students volunteered to support digital transformation in communes and wards.

The Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City said that from August 18-25, 105 IT volunteer students will participate in supporting the application of information technology and digital transformation in 44 wards and communes in the city (phase 1).

Students from participating schools includeFPT University, Duy Tan University, and Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications (University of Danang).

To ensure the safe and effective sending of students to their localities, the Department of Science and Technology recommends that universities proactively contact the People's Committees of wards and communes through contact points to discuss arrangements and organization of sending and receiving volunteer students; develop plans, assign tasks, and guide students' activities when participating in local support.

The People's Committees of wards and communes shall arrange staff to coordinate, monitor and support, and at the same time develop a detailed work plan for students; accordingly, the content must closely follow the assigned support tasks in Plan No. 40/KHUBND dated August 11, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City and the tasks of digital transformation in the locality as a basis for implementation.
