From August 18, more than 100 students volunteered to support digital transformation in communes and wards.

The Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City said that from August 18-25, 105 IT volunteer students will participate in supporting the application of information technology and digital transformation in 44 wards and communes in the city (phase 1).

Students from the following universities participated as volunteers:FPT University, Duy Tan University, and the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (University of Da Nang).

To ensure the safe and effective deployment of student volunteers to local areas, the Department of Science and Technology requests that universities proactively contact the People's Committees of wards and communes through designated contact points to discuss arrangements for transporting and receiving volunteer students; develop plans, assign tasks, and guide student activities when participating in support efforts in the local area.

The People's Committees of wards and communes shall assign officials to coordinate, monitor, and support the students, and at the same time develop a detailed work plan for the students; accordingly, the content should closely adhere to the assigned support tasks in Plan No. 40/KHUBND dated August 11, 2025, of the Da Nang City People's Committee and the tasks on digital transformation in the locality as a basis for implementation.
