Proud of our glorious Party, forever the flag leading the whole nation

Today, in the atmosphere of preparing to welcome the Year of the Dragon, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army of Vietnam joyfully celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the Party of the working people and of the heroic Vietnamese nation. Proud of our glorious Party, we will forever believe in and steadfastly follow the revolutionary path chosen by our beloved President Ho Chi Minh and our Party.

We are proud of our glorious Party, which will forever be the banner leading the entire nation.

Exactly 94 years ago, the conference to unify communist organizations, chaired by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, decided to unite the three organizations, the Indochinese Communist Party, the Annam Communist Party, and the Indochinese Communist League, into a single party named the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This event marked a great turning point, ending the prolonged crisis in the organization and direction of the Vietnamese revolution, ushering in the most brilliant and glorious era in the nation's thousand-year history - the Ho Chi Minh era. February 3, 1930 became the founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

From here, under the leadership of the Party, the masses of people gathered and united, creating the strength of the great national solidarity bloc to firmly step on the glorious paths of revolutionary struggle.

These include: the revolutionary struggle to seize power from 1930 to 1945, successfully carrying out the August Revolution, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia; the nationwide resistance war, restoring peace in the North in 1954; building socialism in the North; the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country in 1975; overcoming the consequences of war, protecting the territorial integrity of the Fatherland, and gradually advancing towards socialism; and carrying out the reform process, building our country to become more prosperous and beautiful.

Throughout those arduous journeys, the Party has maintained a close, inseparable bond with the people and has always enjoyed their unwavering support, trust, and unwavering loyalty. In any difficult circumstance, the Party has always harnessed the strength of the people's spirit of unity and patriotism, transforming challenges into opportunities and continuing to create miracles of the era.

Over the past 94 years, the rich and vibrant experience of the Vietnamese revolution has proven that the correct and wise leadership of the Party is the primary factor determining all victories.

On the other hand, through the process of revolutionary leadership, our Party has always been tempered and has grown increasingly mature, worthy of its mission to lead the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people.

In particular, the great achievements of historical significance during nearly 40 years of reform are the culmination of creativity and the result of persistent and continuous efforts over many terms by the Party, the entire people, and the entire army. This affirms that the reform line initiated and led by our Party is correct and creative; the path to socialism is consistent with objective laws, the realities of Vietnam, and the development trends of the times.

The Party's political platform continues to be the ideological and theoretical banner guiding the nation in comprehensively advancing the reform process; it is the foundation for the Party to perfect the guidelines for building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new period.

Looking back at the 94-year journey of building, fighting, and maturing of the Party, we are infinitely grateful for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the brilliant leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the founder, leader, and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

We will forever remember the dedication and sacrifice of our predecessors, the heroes and martyrs, the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely fought and made immense contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of our nation.

Proud of the glorious Party, proud of the glorious traditions of the nation, we are determined to protect the revolutionary achievements we have attained and create new miracles.

The year 2024 is of special significance in successfully fulfilling the tasks of the entire 2021-2025 term and creating momentum for the following years. The entire Party, people, and army are highly determined and make even greater efforts to continue promoting innovation, seizing every opportunity and advantage, overcoming all difficulties and challenges to achieve the goals.

In all the work of the Party and the State, the principle of "the people are the foundation" is always thoroughly understood; truly trusting, respecting, and promoting the people's right to self-governance. Strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on rapid and sustainable development. Focusing on consolidating and strengthening the macroeconomic foundation, enhancing the internal capacity and self-reliance of the economy; effectively addressing difficulties, limitations, and weaknesses, both immediate and long-term, to maintain the momentum of recovery and growth.

Focus on developing culture and society in harmony with and in line with economic development; ensure social security and welfare; and continuously improve the material and spiritual lives of the people. Effectively implement policies to support people and workers who have lost their jobs; and care for the lives of those who have contributed to the revolution and those in difficult circumstances.

Continue to consolidate and strengthen national defense and security capabilities; maintain political stability, social order and safety; and improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs and international integration.

Strengthen and improve the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; build a truly honest and effective government and local administrations. Resolutely and persistently fight against degradation, "self-evolution," and "self-transformation" within the Party; intensify the fight against corruption and negative phenomena.

Further improve personnel work to select and appoint the right people who are virtuous, talented, dedicated, and truly committed to the country and the people, in order to maintain the prestige and enhance the leadership capacity of the Party in the new situation...

In the joyful spirit of the nation entering a new spring, the entire Party, people, and army, with renewed vigor and unity, are determined to build a Vietnam that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, cultured, and heroic, following the socialist orientation.
