Nguyen Huynh Tuong Vy's study abroad journey began with clear goals and a proactive spirit of learning and preparing everything carefully.
The beginning of a great journey
When receiving the notice of admission with a "huge" scholarship from Gonzaga University, Tuong Vy could not help but burst into emotion: " That is a worthy reward for a long journey of effort, overcoming sleepless nights of studying, writing essays and the confusion and pressure when standing at the great threshold of life ".
Since grade 11, Tuong Vy has set a clear goal of studying abroad, proactively learning abouteducation in developed countries, especially the majors she is interested in and the admission requirements of each school. By grade 12, her preparation for studying abroad has become more systematic, not only practicing English but also improving her essay writing skills to find scholarships that match her abilities and personal orientation.
An international bilingual environment where English is used regularly in daily learning and communication activities contributes to the strengths of Asian School students.
With 12 consecutive years of excellent academic performance and an essay clearly demonstrating her personality and future goals, Tuong Vy made a strong impression on the Admissions Board of Gonzaga University. Choosing to study Business Administration, Tuong Vy said that this is a field that requires strategic thinking, leadership and flexibility - skills that she always wants to practice and develop. "I believe that this major will open up many career opportunities and help me easily adapt to the global working environment ," Tuong Vy shared.
From Asian School to the world
Tuong Vy chose Gonzaga University not only because of its reputation and quality of education, but also because of the deep care it gives to each student. The friendly learning environment, small class sizes, and dedicated support from the instructors are what made her believe this was the ideal place to start her college journey.
Although she is excited about new experiences, she cannot hide her worries: "I am a bit worried about adapting to life away from home and a new culture, but I believe that with careful preparation, a progressive spirit and especially family, parents are always a solid support, I can completely overcome the difficulties ahead ". The dream of studying in a modern, multicultural environment is also the motivation for Vy to constantly strive every day.
"If you have a dream, start early. This journey requires a lot of perseverance and initiative. Don't be afraid to seek help from teachers, friends or seniors, and most importantly, always believe in yourself," Tuong Vy sent a message to those who are cherishing the dream of studying abroad.
