Tuyen Quang makes breakthroughs in educational reform.

GD&TĐ - Implementing educational reforms in the digital age, the Tuyen Quang Education sector has made its mark and breakthroughs in administrative reform associated with digital transformation.

In response to the fundamental and comprehensive reform of education in the digital age, the Education sector of Tuyen Quang province has considered administrative reform linked with digital transformation as a breakthrough. The drastic changes in reviewing and reducing administrative procedures and applying digital platforms have created a new landscape for management and educational quality.

Following the provincial merger and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the Department of Education and Training made a bold reform, proposing the complete abolition of the requirement to submit notarized copies of documents for organizations and individuals.

Support communes and wards in updating, exploiting, and applying technologies in management.

Instead of requiring citizens to provide documents, government agencies are shifting to a mechanism of data retrieval/search through connections with the National Population Database or the Business Registration Portal. Citizens only need to declare their identification number or business registration number.

In addition, the public service cycle in the electronic environment has been completed with the integration of an online fee payment gateway and the issuance of digitally signed Decisions/Results through the Public Service Portal.

Digitalization has also been thoroughly implemented within the education sector itself, such as: completing the electronic student record system and digitizing the school transfer process; replacing approved documents with a request letter or commitment letter.

To ensure implementation, the Department of Education and Training established the Science and Technology Application and Digital Transformation Team for the Education Sector, directly headed and supervised by the Director of the Department.

Information technology infrastructure has been invested in towards standardization and modernization: 100% of educational institutions have internet access; 100% of secondary and high schools and over 95% of primary schools are equipped with computer labs; 222 out of 695 general education schools have online learning rooms.

In particular, the entire database of schools, teachers, and students has been 100% digitized. The implementation of digital report cards at the primary school level and the pilot program at the secondary school level is progressing rapidly, with the rate of digital signature issuance for primary school teachers reaching over 90% and for secondary and high school teachers reaching over 70%.

With 100% of administrative procedures provided online and over 90% of procedures resolved online, coupled with the proficient application of digital platforms by the majority of teachers, the Education sector of Tuyen Quang affirms its pioneering role in the digital transformation of Tuyen Quang province.
