Implementing Decision No. 1291/QD-UBND dated May 12, 2023 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on approving the methodology report and promulgating the Competitiveness Index of provincial departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns (DDCI) of Nghe An province in 2022, Yen Thanh district has resolutely directed departments, branches, agencies and units in the district to effectively implement the contents of the DDCI index, in order to improve the quality of economic management and administration of the district, with the aim of bringing the best benefits to the business community and investors.

At the One-Stop Department of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh District in the first days of October, many businesses and people came to transact documents to implement projects and issue and convert land use right certificates. Thanks to the reasonable arrangement of desks of the departments and waiting positions for customers, there was no chaos. Those who came first received their documents first, in the order in which the ballot was taken in hand.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Lam in Hop Thanh commune said that his family's need to convert from red book to pink book of residential land, like everyone else, he came here to get a number in order. While waiting, he felt comfortable, because everyone's application was processed in order. When it was his turn, the staff gave him thoughtful and easy-to-understand instructions.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, a sole proprietorship, said that when she came to apply for a reissue of her Business Registration Certificate, the one-stop shop took her personal information and returned the results quickly. A business representative also admitted that the one-stop shop always had a cheerful attitude and guided the procedures carefully. The application was also processed on time.

One of the leading units in the province

It is known that in the first 9 months of 2023, Yen Thanh district received 50,325 applications (of which, the number of applications received online accounted for 70%); resolved 49,988 applications (of which, the number of applications resolved on time accounted for 97%).

The digitization rate of the district's records on the administrative procedure settlement information system of Nghe An province reached 46% (87% in September alone), which is one of the leading units in the province. The district has more than 2,000 records for online payment of fees and charges; initially, Yen Thanh children living far from home and individuals far from the one-stop center have used the form of receiving records and administrative procedures results by using the public postal service.

Recording the assessment of people's satisfaction when using public services in both direct and online forms, in the first 3 quarters of 2023, people's satisfaction reached 99% in all areas, with no feedback or recommendations beyond the level.

Yen Thanh is a locality that has attracted 480 enterprises to operate in recent years. Operational efficiency is reflected in the constantly expanding production scale; revenue, profit, and tax obligations to the State have increased. This is because the authorities at all levels of Yen Thanh district have always considered improving competitiveness as a key factor for development. In the Resolution of the 27th District Party Congress, key tasks and breakthroughs in development have been set out in strongly improving the investment and business environment associated with administrative reform.
