The Provincial People's Committee listened to a report on the implementation of adjustments and additions to the land price list for the period 2020-2024.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TN&MT), the unit has so far hired consultants to develop and revise the land price list for the period 2020-2024 in the province and sent it to relevant departments, agencies, and localities for comments. This will serve as the basis for carrying out the next procedural steps to submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval soon. At the same time, in order to implement the Provincial People's Committee's directive on advising on land finance and land prices when the 2024 Land Law comes into effect, the Department of TN&MT proposes that the Provincial People's Committee approve the submission of the revised land price list without hiring a consulting unit, so that it can be submitted to the competent authority for consideration and decision, and applied promptly according to the regulations.

Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently review and submit a land price list ensuring it is consistent with the actual land prices in the locality. In particular, attention should be paid to clarifying the applicable subjects and assessing the impact of the land price coefficient when adjusted, ensuring consistency and stability in fulfilling obligations for land users, and avoiding future legal issues. The Department of Justice was tasked with continuing research and supporting the Department of Natural Resources and Environment regarding the procedures for drafting and issuing legal documents to be implemented concurrently with the 2024 Land Law.
