At the end of the week's trading session, domestic gold prices rose again. Mi Hong Gold also narrowed this gap, currently buying at 119.8 million VND, with a difference of 1.2 million VND/ounce. Phu Quy Gold, however, is listing prices at 118.7-121 million VND/ounce, with a lower buying price compared to the general market.

Domestic gold prices have also risen again. Specifically, Mi Hong Gold is listing buy-sell prices at 115.2-116.7 million VND/ounce; Bao Tin Minh Chau is listing at 116.1-119.1 million VND/ounce; Phu Quy is trading at 114.8-117.8 million VND/ounce; and DOJI is listing at 115.9-118.4 million VND/ounce.
Although not as volatile as gold bars, the price of gold rings still shows an upward trend, aligning with the demand for physical gold as a store of value among the middle class and those who prefer high-value gold jewelry.

World gold prices today, July 19th, recorded a sharp increase, surpassing the $3,350/ounce mark amidst a weakening US dollar, increased geopolitical factors, and expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will adjust its monetary policy in the near future.
According to Kitco, at 4:30 AM on July 19th (Vietnam time), the spot gold price on the world market reached $3,352.63 per ounce, an increase of $19.21 per ounce compared to the previous session, equivalent to a 0.58% increase.
Meanwhile, gold futures prices in the US also rose 0.5%, to $3,360.50 per ounce.
If converted using the Vietcombank exchange rate (26,340 VND/USD), the world gold price is equivalent to approximately 109.93 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees).
By mid-2025, the price of gold had increased by 26%, an impressive growth rate amidst a volatile global economy. Notably, in just the first six months of the year, the price of gold broke records 26 times, compared to only 40 times in all of 2024. This partly reflects the trend of money shifting towards safe-haven assets.
