On the morning of November 21, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to implement Prime Minister's Directive 30 on developing Vietnam's cultural industries.

Speaking at the opening session of the conference, Mr. Ho An Phong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, acknowledged that models around the world have proven that strongly developing cultural industries are identified as important factors in attracting resources, creating competitive advantages, and enhancing the national brand.

At the same time, it is expected that the implementation of Directive 30 will be an opportunity and a turning point, bringing the cultural industries in our country to a new stage.

Tickets for the Anh trai say hi concert in Ho Chi Minh City and the upcoming one in Hanoi are also being hunted "fiercely"

"Material life has developed, no matter how rich people are, no one can drive two cars at the same time, sleep in two beds at the same time, or eat too many meals a day. At that time, the need for cultural life and spiritual life was very large. From there, there was a huge space for cultural industry. The space was large, but the key was to change the way of doing things" - Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said.

According to the deputy minister, preliminary statistics show that cultural industries account for about 4.04% of GDP, and in the coming time, the contribution rate may be even higher.

Talking about the success of domestic cultural industrial products in recent times, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong cited the concerts of Anh trai say hi and Anh trai travail ngan cong gai.

Mr. Phong said these concerts are proving to be successful when the show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai in Hung Yen sold up to 70,000 tickets.

"Even the director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen, who licensed the program, could not buy tickets because the program was attractive and everyone wanted to watch it.

But the tickets are not cheap. This program is being held in Hung Yen and is selling for 8 million VND/ticket but we can't even buy them" - Deputy Minister Ho An Phong said.
