On the morning of January 1, 2025, Vietnam Airlines coordinated with provinces and cities across the country to organize a program to welcome the first passengers of the new year.
The program is a special mark in the series of activities to show gratitude and connect customers as well as affirm the efforts to stand side by side with provinces and cities across the country to strongly promote aviation, tourism and destination promotion.
Taking place at many airports across the North, Central and South, this is an annual activity organized by Vietnam Airlines to mark a good start for the Vietnamese aviation and tourism industry on the occasion of the New Year.
Ho Chi Minh City welcomed the first passengers from Paris (France) on flight VN 10. Meanwhile, passengers on flight VN 110 from Ho Chi Minh City were the first guests to visit Da Nang in 2025.
Hai Phong, Binh Dinh and Quang Binh all welcomed the first passengers of 2025 from Hanoi. Thua Thien-Hue and Dak Lak welcomed the first passengers of the year departing from Ho Chi Minh City.
Passengers and flight crew were warmly welcomed with flowers, gifts and special ceremonies. This is the gratitude and best wishes from the provinces and the national airline to passengers on their journey to start the new year. In particular, some lucky customers received gifts of air tickets from Vietnam Airlines.
“The first flights of the year are not just a journey, but also a symbol of a new beginning, bringing joy, expectation and best wishes to passengers. In addition, the program is also a commitment of Vietnam Airlines to always actively accompany provinces and cities across the country in developing aviation, tourism and creating wonderful experiences for tourists,” emphasized the leader of Vietnam Airlines.
