Vietnam tourism sets new record, welcoming over 19 million international visitors in 11 months

QNgTV- In the first 11 months of 2025, the total number of international visitors to Vietnam reached over 19.1 million, a record high number ever, surpassing the 18 million arrivals in the whole year of 2019 - the time before the Covid-19 pandemic.

In November 2025 alone, Vietnam welcomed nearly 2 million international visitors, an increase of 14.1% over the previous month and an increase of 15.6% over the same period in 2024. This is the month with the third highest number of international visitors since the beginning of the year (January and March reached over 2 million).

Notably, November 2025 witnessed strong growth from the North American markets, with the US increasing by 30.5% compared to the previous month, and Canada increasing by 55.9%. The European market also achieved impressive growth of 51.2% compared to the previous month, with Russia increasing by 37%, the UK increasing by 31.8%, France increasing by 46.7%, Germany increasing by 51.4%, Italy increasing by 88.9%, and Switzerland increasing by 47.3%. In particular, the Czech Republic and Poland recorded triple-digit increases, 148.8% and 255.6%, respectively.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism assessed that the strong growth of North America and Europe in November reflects the trend of attracting visitors from distant markets to Vietnam during the peak season at the end of the year.
