At the workshop "Developing a pre-hospital emergency care plan for the period 2025-2030" organized by the Ministry of Health in Hanoi on March 21, Vingroup announced a sponsorship of 1,000 billion VND to support the implementation of the plan, and also signed a memorandum of understanding for pilot implementation with four localities: Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Khanh Hoa, and Kien Giang .
The pre-hospital emergency care project is a key national project aimed at building a comprehensive and modern pre-hospital emergency care system, contributing to improving the quality of emergency medical care and increasing access to emergency services for people nationwide.
Accordingly, Vingroup will simultaneously implement various activities to collaborate with the Ministry of Health and local authorities to improve the quality and operation of the pre-hospital emergency medical system, and enhance people's access to emergency services.
Vingroup will support and invest in upgrading emergency equipment, specialized ambulances, training medical staff, rescue forces, and the community in first aid techniques, sponsoring equipment for training, and other related projects.
This company will also consider investing in the installation of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in key public locations such as train stations, ports, airports, and schools to help increase the survival rate for cardiovascular stroke cases, in line with the Ministry of Health's policy.
In addition, Vingroup also participates in supporting the construction of a communication and emergency coordination system, facilitating rapid connection between emergency units and hospitals.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup, said that Vingroup wishes to cooperate with the Ministry of Health and localities in improving the quality of pre-hospital emergency services.
"We believe that with systematic investment in advanced emergency medical systems, people will benefit from fast and effective medical services, contributing to minimizing risks and improving the quality of community healthcare," Mr. Quang said.
