Vo Minh Khai is the adopted son of Meritorious Artist Minh Nhi. Growing up day by day, he is now over 1.8 meters tall and preparing to take on new roles after the success of his leading role in the comedy "Searching for the Crown Prince." Speaking about himself, Vo Minh Khai always remembers his father's kindness in raising him and providing him with every opportunity to pursue his artistic career.
Recently, on the program "Everyone Has a Story," Vo Minh Khai was a guest who shared about his life and career. He was a pampered child, spoiled by his parents and given everything he wanted. There were days when he ran away from home. It wasn't until a major family crisis occurred that he started working outside the home at the young age of 15.

"At 12 years old, my friend invited me to smoke, but I refused immediately. I don't do things I don't like. From a young age, I was consciously aware of my future aspirations to be a polite and civilized person, so I stayed away from anything bad. Those are also good things that my adoptive father later taught me: to live with morality and integrity," – Vo Minh Khai shared.
He describes himself as contradictory. On the outside, people see him as quite hyperactive, but in reality, he is very emotional. If someone shows him affection, he will reciprocate tenfold.

"At 15, I went out to pursue acting, wanting to live in an artistic environment. My family didn't object; in fact, they really liked it. To pursue art, I had to do all kinds of jobs at the theater, such as checking tickets, cleaning, and performing as an extra, for a fee of 50,000 VND for two performances. When it became too hard, working long hours without achieving anything, my father saw it and forbade me from pursuing the profession," Vo Minh Khai recounted.

After participating in the game show, Vo Minh Khai was given a bicycle by MC Dai Nghia. He rode that bicycle to work every day. Although he only earned 50,000 VND for two performances as an extra, he still enjoyed it because he got to be on stage.
"In reality, my hardships are nothing compared to the struggles my adoptive father went through when he was a young actor. My adoptive father was incredibly resilient, starting as a young man from Sa Dec, Dong Thap, and coming to Ho Chi Minh City to build his career. He endured countless hardships; I heard his stories and those of his colleagues, and I felt immense sympathy for him. Those are invaluable lessons that motivate me to constantly strive to always be worthy of being his son," actor Vo Minh Khai confided.
