VPBank joins hands for the community, sponsoring 40 billion VND for Bach Mai Hospital

On December 8, 2025, Vietnam Prosperity Commercial Bank (VPBank) and Bach Mai Hospital signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with a total sponsorship amount of up to 40 billion VND to carry out social welfare activities, affirming the bank's role and responsibility in accompanying the community, especially in the field of healthcare.

According to the agreement, this funding will be used to focus on improving medical examination and treatment conditions, such as upgrading facilities and adding modern medical equipment to enhance the quality of healthcare services. Furthermore, the agreement also lays the groundwork for the hospital to implement incentive programs for patients and healthcare staff .

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, said that building and developing the Bach Mai International Medical Center into an international standard medical facility is not only a strategic task of the hospital but also an important direction, consistent with the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.

“ Our goal is to create a reputable healthcare destination, helping domestic citizens access world-class services while attracting international customers and contributing to socio-economic development. VPBank's partnership is not only significant in terms of material support but also a great source of encouragement for our medical team, motivating us to provide the best healthcare services to the people, ” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Xuan Co emphasized.

Recently, the bank donated 15 billion VND to support households affected by the disaster in Gia Lai province to focus on building and repairing houses; 30 billion VND to Nghe An province and 10 billion VND to support flood victims in the northern and central provinces, aiming to provide essential goods, construction materials, and stabilize livelihoods.

The bank has also just launched a VND 1 trillion interest rate support package for customers affected by storms and floods. VPBank's CSR programs always demonstrate its sensitivity in identifying urgent community needs, aiming for practical, timely, and humane impacts, from education, healthcare, and the environment to emergency support after natural disasters, while also focusing on long-term impact.
