VRG leaders awarded the A prize to representatives of Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Vietnam Rubber Magazine. The representative of the organizing committee said that the 4th Rubber Industry Journalism Award in 2024 had 148 entries, coming from press agencies from central to local levels, the network of collaborators of Vietnam Rubber Magazine and employees of rubber companies under VRG. Compared to the previous three times, the quality of this year's entries has been improved.

In particular, many works were evaluated by the organizers as having in-depth quality such as the reportage on 95 years of tradition of the Vietnamese rubber industry (13 episodes) by Thanh Nien Newspaper, 20 years of "white gold" on the land of Champa flowers (7 episodes) by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Changing lives thanks to rubber trees (5 episodes) by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, "Rubber thread" connecting Vietnam - Cambodia (4 episodes) by
Nong Nghiep Newspaper, Warmth and prosperity following rubber gardens (4 episodes) by Gia Lai Newspaper, White gold of Vietnamese rubber on Cambodian land (4 episodes) by Thanh Nien Newspaper, Age 40 of Central Highlands rubber (4 episodes) by Nong Nghiep Newspaper.
Overview of the event The content of the works is about the production and business activities of the Group and its member companies; green growth and sustainable development; the effectiveness of the Group's rubber projects abroad (Cambodia, Laos); care for employees of VRG member companies in remote areas, ethnic minority areas; national security and defense, and social security of the Group.
VRG Chairman of the Board of Directors spoke at the press conference . In the final round, the organizing committee selected 40 works of the highest quality to award prizes. Among them, there was one special prize, 6 A prizes, 9 B prizes, 10 C prizes and 14 consolation prizes. This year's special prize went to the reportage "95 years of tradition of the Vietnamese rubber industry" produced by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Vietnam Rubber Magazine. Speaking at the event, VRG Deputy General Director Truong Minh Trung thanked the central and local press agencies for their support and sharing with the Group over the past time. Mr. Trung informed about VRG's operations in 2024, especially emphasizing the image, brand and achievements that the Group has made in production and business, taking care of workers' lives, social security... over the past year could not have been spread without the support of the press and media.
VRG Chairman Tran Cong Kha awarded certificates of merit to representatives of press agencies with outstanding achievements in implementing VRG's communication work in 2024. VRG leaders expressed that, over 4 years of organizing the Press Award on the rubber industry, the organizing committee has compiled nearly 800 good works, promoting the development of the industry, the Group's sustainable development policy, the work of caring for workers' lives, maintaining national security and defense... In particular, the works truthfully and objectively reflect the Group's continuous and strong efforts to grow in recent times.
Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut - Deputy General Director of VRG, Chairman of Vietnam Rubber Trade Union awarded a certificate of merit to the reporter with outstanding achievements in implementing VRG's communication work in 2024. "The press has promoted the good achievements of the rubber industry as well as shared with the Group in difficult times. The Group hopes that the press will continue to accompany the rubber industry, regardless of difficulties or advantages, to make the rubber development career increasingly sustainable" - Deputy General Director of VRG emphasized.
VRG leaders and the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association awarded the A prize to the reporter. VRG Chairman Tran Cong Kha said that in 2024, the Group achieved many important results in production and business, increased income, and took good care of workers' lives. Mr. Kha hopes that in 2025, the press will continue to accompany, support, and promote beautiful images of the sustainable development of the Vietnamese rubber industry.
