Students were forced to kneel and lick license plates in Soc Son, Hanoi (Photo: From video clip).
As Dan Tri newspaper previously reported, a video recently circulated on social media showing a male student being surrounded by a group of students who repeatedly yelled at him and forced him to kneel.
Notably, one of the young men in the group forced the male student to crawl behind the motorcycle and lick its license plate.
When the boy hesitated, the other boy kicked him in the face. Eventually, the boy had to comply with the group's demands, but he continued to be beaten.
The clip caused outrage. Many readers commented that they cried while watching the clip because they thought of the male student who was the same age as their child.
The male student is believed to be a 10th-grade student at Minh Phu High School in Soc Son commune (formerly Soc Son district), Hanoi.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Soc Son commune police. The male student who was subjected to violence in the video has returned to school.
