Many rare species can be encountered such as: Saola, Truong Son striped rabbit, large-antlered muntjac, northern civet, white-cheeked gibbon, white-tailed pheasant...

New step for ecotourism
To exploit the great potential of the primeval forest ecosystem and unique landscape, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has approved the Project "Developing eco-tourism, resorts and entertainment in Vu Quang National Park for the period 2025 - 2030". The project aims to develop Vu Quang area into a key destination for green tourism in the North Central region, combining nature conservation and sustainable economic development for the local community.
Accordingly, Vu Quang National Park will be planned and invested in infrastructure suitable for the special-use forest environment, prioritizing types such as experiential tourism, eco-resorts, cultural-historical tourism and environmental education.

On the journey to explore Vu Quang National Park, the first stop that cannot be missed is Ngan Truoi Lake - one of the three largest reservoirs in Vietnam. The lake's surface is calm, immense, reflecting the clouds and sky, creating a peaceful, poetic scene.
Following the upstream journey, visitors will arrive at Monkey Island - a special destination in the middle of the lake. This place is currently the "new home" of more than 20 monkeys of 4 different species, rescued and released by organizations inside and outside the province. Monkey Island is peaceful and isolated, an ideal environment for these individuals to grow and adapt to nature.
One of the highlights of the journey is Trai Cua waterfall - located deep in the core of the national park. Coming here, visitors will be immersed in the wild, mysterious beauty of the mountains and forests. The murmuring sound of the waterfall blends with the sound of the great forest to create a harmony of nature, soothing all fatigue.
At the foot of the waterfall is a year-round clear, cool lake where visitors can soak and relax amidst pristine nature. Trai Cua Waterfall is not only a destination for explorers but also a place to find balance, tranquility and connection with nature.
After the journey of discovery, a rustic meal in the middle of the forest will be an indispensable experience. Specialties such as grilled cool fish, grilled hill chicken, boiled wild vegetables with peanut salt... have the typical flavor of the highlands of Ha Tinh. All ingredients are prepared by local people, fresh, clean and safe.

Preserving green forests – responsibility and mission
Not only focusing on tourism development, Vu Quang National Park also fulfills its mission of forest and biodiversity conservation. Over the years, the park has coordinated with many domestic and foreign organizations and experts to implement species and habitat conservation projects, improve forest management capacity and community awareness.
One of the most meaningful activities is the release of wild animals back into the forest. Together with staff from Vu Quang National Park, visitors will have the opportunity to directly participate in the process of returning animals to their natural habitat – a touching moment, reminding us of our responsibility to preserve the ecosystem and protect the “common home” of all species.

Vu Quang - a journey of experience and connection
Not just a trip, the journey to Vu Quang National Park is an opportunity for everyone to slow down, listen to nature, understand more about the value of the forest and the silent efforts of those who are day and night preserving the green forest. With great potential and sustainable development orientation, Vu Quang National Park promises to become a leading destination for ecotourism.
If you are a nature lover, passionate about discovery and want to return to original values, come to Vu Quang National Park once - to feel, to understand and to love more the green forest of your homeland.
