Overview
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was launched in China not long ago, but it has only now officially become available in Vietnam. One of the most outstanding advantages of this smartphone is its photography capabilities, boasting a camera system with lenses and six focal lengths ranging from 12mm to 240mm.
In addition, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts a high-quality 32MP selfie camera. The Leica Filters system and two special Leica photography modes also support customization of photos, ensuring that every captured moment is impressive and unique.
In addition to its photography capabilities, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra also allows for video recording in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, popular in the seventh art, supports 8K video recording on all four lenses, and captures realistic sound clearly and crisply with its four-microphone array.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and integrated AI technology, delivering outstanding performance and the ability to handle all tasks quickly.
In terms of battery, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and Xiaomi Adaptive Charge fast charging technology, achieving a maximum charging speed of 90W, supporting a full charge from 0 to 100% in just 46 minutes.
Price, advantages and disadvantages
Launched in the Vietnamese market, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at 32.99 million VND for the 16GB/512GB version, with two color options: black and white.
At this price point, Xiaomi's new product line will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is more expensive than its two competitors in the 256GB version, but cheaper in the 512GB and 1TB versions.
According to the technology website GSM Arena, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has many advantages. However, it also has limitations such as a high price and little chance of price reduction over time, below-average battery life, and a selfie camera that takes below-average still photos.
Meanwhile, 91mobiles emphasizes that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is quite heavy to carry around, with a slightly unbalanced weight distribution.
According to CNET, the drawbacks of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra include too many pre-installed apps, a rather cluttered layout, shorter software support compared to Samsung or Google, and relatively short battery life.
