On August 26, a leader of the People's Committee of Ea Drang Commune, Dak Lak (formerly belonging to Ea H'leo District, Dak Lak), said that the unit had received information about parents' reactions to the plan to change uniforms at Ly Tu Trong Primary School in the commune for the new school year.

According to the leader, through information gathering, the incident that parents reported was just a discussion, and no specific document has been issued regarding the school changing uniforms. The local government has directed the school to immediately stop this implementation.

The leader of Ly Tu Trong Primary School said that the school has stopped purchasing blue uniforms for students and said that the announcement on the Zalo group for parents by the teacher in charge of the Youth Union was somewhat hasty because the school has not yet implemented it.

This leader explained that at the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the parents' association discussed and implemented blue uniforms priced at VND145,000/set to build the "school brand". However, when the implementation began, some parents reacted. Therefore, the school decided not to continue the implementation and returned the ordered items to the manufacturer.

Previously, some parents expressed concerns on social media about Ly Tu Trong Primary School wanting students to change many colors of uniforms during the school week.

According to the article, the school requires students to wear blue shirts (Monday and Wednesday), orange shirts (Tuesday and Thursday), and white, orange, or blue shirts on Friday. In addition, students must wear gym uniforms during physical education class.

Parents said they were very supportive of buying new uniforms. However, wearing different uniforms on different days of the week would cause confusion for parents when reminding students before going to school.

At the same time, parents suggested that the school should unify the students to wear white shirts on Mondays and orange uniforms on the remaining days.
