Fine of 8.5 million VND for business establishments trading in goods of unknown origin

Dak Lak Market Management Department has just issued a decision to administratively sanction the business household of Ms. VTTT (Tan Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), with a total fine of 8.5 million VND for the act of "Trading in goods of unknown origin".

Previously, on December 26, 2023, through information exploited on cyberspace, the E-Commerce Task Force coordinated with Market Management Team No. 1 (Dak Lak Market Management Department) to conduct a surprise inspection of Ms. VTTT's business establishment located in Tan Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City.

At the time of inspection, the delegation discovered that this facility was selling 225 used fashion products without product labels.

The business representative could not present documents and certificates proving the legality and origin of the goods. The total value of the infringing goods was 22.5 million VND.
