Fine of 8.5 million VND for business establishments trading in goods of unknown origin

The Dak Lak Market Management Department has just issued a decision to impose administrative penalties on the business of Ms. VTTT (Tan Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), with a total fine of 8.5 million VND for the act of "Trading goods without clear origin and source".

Previously, on December 26, 2023, through information exploited on cyberspace, the E-commerce Task Force coordinated with Market Management Team No. 1 (Dak Lak Market Management Department) to conduct a surprise inspection of Ms. VTTT's business establishment located in Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city.

Market management forces inspect the business premises of Ms. VTTT.

At the time of inspection, the delegation discovered that this facility was selling 225 used fashion products without product labels.

The business representative could not present any documents or certificates proving the legality and origin of the goods. The total value of the infringing goods was 22.5 million VND.
