Cho Ray Hospital doctors have provided professional support to Phu Quoc Medical Center to successfully perform emergency surgery on patients with stroke, cerebral infarction, and hip surgery.

Mr. Tran Thanh Linh - a resident of Phu Quoc special zone - said that his family is in a difficult situation, working to earn 150,000 - 200,000 VND/day to live. During his work, he contracted many serious diseases such as severe gout and hip damage. Because he did not have money for treatment, his family was very worried.

The surgery was successful, the patient was reassured, and did not have to travel far, so the cost was greatly reduced," Dr. Duong emphasized.
Will invest in expanding Phu Quoc Hospital
Mr. Pham Thanh Viet - Deputy Director of Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City - said that the hospital is currently increasing support for doctors and nurses with expertise in emergency and resuscitation to coordinate with doctors from Phu Quoc Medical Center to promptly treat many serious cases.
The patient recovered well without any sequelae. Cho Ray Hospital will soon deploy more techniques in Phu Quoc to treat people.

In addition, according to Mr. Khoa, Phu Quoc also received sponsorship from businesses such as 10 ambulances, a business has invested and prepared to inaugurate a 100-bed hospital in An Thoi, so people and tourists coming to Phu Quoc for entertainment can also feel secure about health care conditions.
