The total capacity of the 20 transitional renewable energy plants/parts is 1,171.72 MW.
Compared to last week, two more projects/parts of projects have completed the COD procedures: 38/40 turbines of Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant (123.6 MW capacity) and the remaining 24 turbines of Hung Hai Gia Lai Wind Power Plant (96 MW).
As of August 18th, 79 out of 85 projects with a total capacity of 4,449.86 MW had submitted applications to the Electricity Trading Company for electricity price negotiations and power purchase agreements. Of these, 67 projects (with a total capacity of 3,849.41 MW) requested a provisional price equal to 50% of the ceiling price of the price framework.

EVN and the investors have completed price negotiations and initialed PPA contracts for 61 out of 67 projects; the Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved provisional prices for 58 projects with a total capacity of 3,181.41 MW.
The cumulative electricity output of transitional renewable energy projects from the time of Commercial Operation Date (COD) to August 17th reached over 310 million kWh, of which the average daily electricity output accounted for approximately 0.4% of the total mobilized power generation.
23 projects have been inspected and approved by competent state management agencies; 29 projects have been granted power operation licenses for the entire plant/part of the plant; and 39 projects have received decisions to extend investment approval.
There are currently 6 projects with a total capacity of 284.70 MW that have not yet submitted negotiation documents.
