The theme of this year's festival is "Playing with Math".
The event was bustling with the participation of approximately 6,000 students, teachers, and lecturers from many primary, secondary, and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City and some other provinces and cities, as well as from many universities.
Students, in particular, are fascinated by the approximately 100 experiential activities offered at the "Magical Land of Mathematics".

These are applications of mathematics in creating games related to mathematics, STEM, AI, etc., and fun, challenging activities such as using math to catch criminals, decipher secret messages, and unravel the gravitational pull of magnetic marbles.
In addition, there are a range of exploratory games that apply mathematics, such as telescope observation and balancing.
The experiences and applications of mathematics presented at the festival were diverse and suitable for many age groups. Many young students participated in fun games, and even older adults found something to enjoy and learn about.

Nguyen Tan Nguyen, an 11th-grade student from Ho Thi Nham High School ( Tra Vinh ), said that because he loves mathematics, he took a bus from 5 am to fully participate in the event. “I was fascinated by many of the mathematical experiences here. Besides having fun and experiencing things, I also learned about the future of mathematics and its applications,” Nguyen shared.
