Held annually, after 7 times of organization, the Moc Chau District Fruit Picking Festival has become an annual cultural and tourism event, a typical agricultural tourism "brand" of Moc Chau District. The 8th Moc Chau District Fruit Picking Festival in 2024 continues to aim for the message " Producing clean agricultural products associated with environmental protection ".

The most anticipated event at the festival was the fruit picking competition. The 8 participating teams had to pick plums by hand, without shaking the tree, breaking branches, hitting the fruit, or doing anything that could damage the plum tree.

I need nimble hands and strong legs to climb and pick the most fruit.

In addition, the festival took place with many other attractive activities such as: fruit display and fruit tasting; traditional and folk sports games, cultural camp competitions, community culture... All created a vibrant festival, bringing interesting and unforgettable experiences and leaving deep impressions on delegates and visitors.

Ms. Do Thi Huyen - Tourist from Hanoi: This is the first time I have been to Son La and coincidentally participated in the two-fruit festival in Son La. I felt very happy and the atmosphere was very low, so I felt excited. Seeing the plums and plum gardens, I really liked it and wanted to experience this atmosphere with everyone.

The festival is a source of excitement and pride for plum growers, affirming the position, role and value of Moc Chau plum trees. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the potential and strengths of Moc Chau National Tourism Area to attract investment, cooperation and development./.
