Bac Ninh: Receiving and distributing national reserve goods for disaster prevention and control

BAC NINH - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi has just signed Decision No. 1159 on receiving and allocating national reserve goods to serve disaster prevention, control and search and rescue work in the province.

Accordingly, the State Reserve Department provided Bac Ninh province with 60 tons of rice, 1 DT2 speedboat, 40 life-saving tents, 2 generators, 5,000 life jackets and 3,000 life buoys to serve disaster prevention, control and search and rescue work.

Provincial armed forces participate in transporting necessities to people in flood-affected areas of storm No. 11.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to be responsible for organizing the reception, management and preservation of the goods provided according to regulations at the receiving locations. At the same time, coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to transport and immediately distribute the rice to the People's Committees of communes and wards affected by natural disasters and notify the Regional Reserve Sub-Departments I and VI.

The Provincial Police are responsible for organizing the reception, management and preservation of goods (1 set of DT2 high-speed boats) issued according to regulations at the receiving location and notify the Regional Reserve Sub-Department VII.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for receiving, managing, preserving the allocated rice and distributing the right amount of rice to the right beneficiaries, according to the prescribed norms, for households affected by natural disasters.
