The organizers said they will allocate at least 10% of revenue from pho sales during the two days of the festival, along with the cooperation of readers and accompanying units, to support people affected by storms and floods in Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen ) during the recent natural disaster.
The information was announced at the press conference to introduce the 9th Pho Day 12-12 2025, which took place on the morning of December 4 at the Tuoi Tre Newspaper Office (HCMC). This year's event, themed 'Elevating Vietnamese rice, spreading to five continents', officially launched a series of activities to promote Vietnamese culinary culture with a focus on pho.

Pho Festival 2025 will take place on December 13-14, 2025 at the Tax Trade Center (old), 135 Nguyen Hue, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program has been supported and coordinated for many years by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Department of Trade Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, with the accompaniment of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
After 9 years of formation and development, Pho Day is not only a domestic culinary festival but has also reached out internationally under the brand name Vietnam Pho Festival, which has been held in Japan, Korea and Singapore. In 2025 alone, the program in Singapore will take place on October 18-19, attracting more than 35,000 visitors, serving tens of thousands of meals and organizing more than 400 business connections between Vietnamese and Singaporean enterprises, bringing in many orders and memorandums of understanding worth tens of thousands of USD.

At the press conference, the representative of the Organizing Committee said that this year's pho festival gathered more than 30 pho stalls from many regions, including very special brands and chefs. Ngo pho from Ha Giang (now Tuyen Quang), with rare pho noodles not made from rice, with a husband and wife chef making corn pho to serve diners. Another representative is the Tay pho restaurant located on Nguyen Van Huong street, run by an Italian chef who cooks Vietnamese pho; Minh pho was established in 1954; Tau bay pho is owned by two elderly owners over 74 years old. In Hanoi, there is Pho Thin Bo Ho, Pho Vuong Nam Dinh; in the Central Highlands, there is Pho Nho Pho Nui, famous for Pho Hai To... Notably, there is the participation of Pho Viet from Seoul, South Korea (Pho Khoe), representing Vietnamese pho that is developing abroad.
