Agribank Insurance officially appointed Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy General Director in charge of operations, to the position of General Director.
The announcement ceremony for the appointment was held on August 8th at the Company's National Conference, which also marked the 18th anniversary of Agribank Insurance's establishment.
The new General Director of Agribank Insurance, Nguyen Hong Thai, is one of the first members of Agribank Insurance since its early days. During 18 years of building and developing Agribank Insurance, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai has gained extensive experience in many key areas of the insurance industry, including business management, human resources, reinsurance, and finance and accounting, in various positions.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, Nguyen Tien Hai, highly appreciated Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai's extensive experience, understanding of the system, and management capabilities.
“The Board of Directors always trusts and expects that, in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai will play a leading role in guiding Agribank Insurance to achieve even greater success, especially in human resource training and development; innovating and adapting quickly in digital transformation; developing new insurance products to meet market trends, especially in the agricultural sector; and enabling Agribank Insurance to complete its 2025 business plan, laying the groundwork for Agribank Insurance to move towards strong development in the 2026-2030 period,” Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai emphasized.
In his acceptance speech, the new General Director Nguyen Hong Thai expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Party Committee and Board of Members of Agribank, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, and all generations of leaders who have guided, supported, and trusted him throughout the years.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai also expressed his determination that, although there will be many obstacles and challenges ahead, with the close guidance of the Board of Directors, the sharing and solidarity within the Executive Board, and the support and concerted efforts of the entire system, Agribank Insurance will achieve many new accomplishments, fulfill its assigned tasks, and continue to affirm its position as a leading non-life insurance company in the market.
Also at this National Conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Tien Hai presented the appointment decision for the position of Deputy General Director to Mr. Nguyen Mau Viet - Director of Agribank Insurance Hanoi Branch.
With the addition of young, capable, and proactive senior leadership personnel who are dedicated and passionate about the company, Agribank Insurance will undergo significant transformation in the coming period, especially as the company is experiencing strong growth with many challenging goals aimed at increasing competitiveness and affirming its position as a leading enterprise.
