Forecasts indicate that by 13:00 on November 9th, the center of Typhoon No. 7 will be located at approximately 18.6 degrees North latitude and 114.8 degrees East longitude, in the northern South China Sea, about 420km northeast of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the typhoon will reach levels 13-14, with gusts up to level 17. The typhoon is moving in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 15-20km/hour.
As of 13:00 on November 10th, the typhoon's center was located at approximately 18.3 degrees North latitude and 112.1 degrees East longitude, about 200km north of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the typhoon reached level 13, with gusts up to level 16. The typhoon was moving west-northwest, with the possibility of changing direction to southwest, at a speed of about 10km/hour, gradually weakening.
As of 13:00 on November 11th, the typhoon's center was located at approximately 17.1 degrees North latitude and 110.4 degrees East longitude, about 170km northwest of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the typhoon were at level 9, with gusts up to level 13. The typhoon was moving southwest at a speed of 5-10km/hour and further weakening.
Over the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will move southwest at a speed of 10-15 km per hour, continuing to weaken in intensity.
Due to the influence of typhoon No. 7, the eastern sea area of the northern South China Sea is experiencing strong winds of force 8-11, reaching force 12-14 near the center of the typhoon, with gusts up to force 17; sea waves are 4-6m high, and 6-8m near the center; the sea is extremely rough.
