The competition was organized to promote awareness of the Congresses of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels, leading up to the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029.

At the press conference, the organizers stated that the competition aims to attract the attention, participation, and artistic creativity of young people, artists, musicians, and all citizens to create works that are aesthetically pleasing, deeply meaningful, and inspire the enthusiasm, aspirations, and ambitions of Vietnamese youth, especially those with high motivational value to promote the Congress.

The submitted works vividly reflect the lives, the will to overcome difficulties, the learning and training of young people; the enthusiasm, aspirations, and ambitions of young people in establishing themselves and their careers; encouraging the spirit of volunteerism in building and protecting the nation; readiness to face all challenges and difficulties; daring to dream and strive to conquer new heights; affirming their mark; and contributing to the overall development of the country.

Director Thai Huan is a member of the competition's judging panel.

The competition was launched from October 3rd to December 15th. Afterwards, the judging panel and the organizing committee will evaluate and select the best song to be the official theme song for the Congress and the best emblem to be the Congress logo.

The judging panel for the song category included Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac, musician Hoai An, and director Thai Huan. The judging panel for the logo design category included artist Nguyen Thi Kim Lan and architect Tu Phu Duc.
