Bao Yen launched the Campaign to compose poems and songs with the theme "Bao Yen - 60 years of pride and aspiration to reach far"

The purpose is to widely propagate to cadres, party members and people the achievements in the fields of economic development, culture - society, national defense and security after 60 years of Bao Yen district establishment. Thereby, arousing national pride, motivating cadres and people to promote the tradition and achievements, determined to build Bao Yen homeland to be more and more rich, beautiful and civilized, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 22nd District Party Congress.

The entries can be poems or songs.

Works submitted to the campaign must be new creations, not having won prizes in other competitions or campaigns; have high ideological and artistic value, have practical distillation and artistic and intellectual thinking created by the author's own labor; be healthy spiritual and cultural products, reflecting vivid reality associated with the formation and development process of Bao Yen district.

Specifically, the works praise the beauty of Bao Yen land and people, honor cultural traditions, revolutionary traditions, reflect the cultural identity of ethnic groups, homeland, nature, people, potential and strengths of Bao Yen. Demonstrate the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bao Yen district have achieved in all fields, at the same time promote the image of Bao Yen district to domestic and international friends, serving the political , economic, cultural and social tasks of the district.

Encourage the creation of works on themes related to Party and government building, new rural development, tourism development, ethnic unity, and environmental protection; with melodies, lyrics, and methods of expression that utilize folk music elements of the ethnic groups living in the district.

All authors, whether individuals or groups, who have full legal capacity, are not currently under disciplinary action, have not violated the law, and have not received negative feedback at their workplace or place of residence, both within and outside the province, are eligible to participate.

The submission period for entries is from July 15th to December 31st, 2024. Judging is expected to take place in January 2025. The organizing committee will honor and award prizes to the winning authors and perform the winning works on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Bao Yen district (March 3rd, 1965 - March 3rd, 2025).
