Nghi Xuan District Police ( Ha Tinh ) have just discovered and arrested Tran Van Thanh in Xuan Hai Commune for illegally possessing drugs.

On the morning of June 7, Nghi Xuan District Police coordinated with Xuan Hai Commune Police to monitor Tran Van Thanh (born 1990, Hai Luc village, Xuan Hai commune) with many suspicious signs related to drug crimes.

While Thanh was at home, the police conducted an inspection and discovered and confiscated a plastic bag containing crystal meth and a homemade drug kit on the bedroom window.

Police searched the suspect's house.

Thanh confessed that he bought the drugs for his own use. The police made a record of the arrest, temporarily seized and sealed the related objects.

Continuing to search the suspect's home, authorities discovered and seized 93 more compressed drug pills and 3 plastic bags containing drugs, type Methamphetamine.

The total amount of drugs illegally stored by Thanh after appraisal had a mass of 9.545 grams.

It is known that Tran Van Thanh had a previous conviction for illegal possession of drugs in 2021, was released from prison in January 2022; and is currently under management and monitoring.

On June 8, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghi Xuan District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant Tran Van Thanh and issue an order to detain him for illegal possession of narcotics.
