Caught red-handed cutting power cable on highway

At around 7:50 a.m. on May 13, through surveillance cameras, the Tien Giang Regional Security Command discovered a man over 30 years old wandering in the area of ​​Km 49 of Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway, near Than Cuu Nghia intersection, Chau Thanh district.

Through surveillance, this agency discovered that the man was holding a knife and cutting many pieces of cable and plastic pipe under the light pole, so they reported it to the authorities.

Discovering there was a highway employee, the man immediately ran away and threatened with a knife.

The highway staff controlled this person and handed over the evidence to the police of Than Cuu Nghia commune, Chau Thanh district.

At the scene, many cables under the lighting pole were broken. Authorities are taking the man's statement and handling the case according to regulations.
