The Media Center (MPC) is located on the premises of the Thai Television in Bangkok. This is expected to be the "headquarters" to support media throughout the 33rd SEA Games.

MPC is about 30 minutes by taxi from Rajamangala Central Park. If you encounter traffic (a common occurrence in Bangkok), the journey time will be much longer.

Security at MPC is tightened to the maximum. To enter the building, reporters must present their press cards.

Handbags, backpacks,... must be thoroughly checked before going through the scanner, while security guards are on duty around the clock.

Because it has not yet officially operated, MPC has brought many ironic situations to reporters from other countries during their first days working in Thailand.
Some reporters said that getting a press pass was a "hard" journey at the MPC center. Previously, during the training sessions of U22 Vietnam, reporters had to use a day pass provided by the organizers.

Even though they had registered with the Olympic Committee in advance, each reporter who came to receive their card still had to fill in the information manually by handwriting on the registration form. For press agencies sending many reporters to Thailand, this process took more than 2 hours to complete the issuance of all press cards.

Inside the MPC press room, there are more than 30 computers, full power outlets and high-speed internet connection. This is the center for updating events, announcing official information about competition results, issuing daily press releases and providing necessary information services.

At the same time, this place also supports processing accreditation cards, coordinating reporters' working rights, coordinating information with competition venues and Sports Federations, helping reporters to work most effectively.

In addition, the center is also equipped with printers and lockers, supporting reporters to store personal belongings during the day, store documents and print quickly during work.

In addition, MPC also has a prayer room for Muslims working at the 33rd SEA Games.

In the days before the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, the MPC center still had many unfinished and unfinished items, and the number of reporters and journalists coming to work was still sparse. It is expected that right after the opening ceremony on December 9, this space will be more bustling and vibrant.
