BIDV launches HUB Ha Dong - A step forward in digitalizing treasury operations

On the morning of October 13, 2025, at BIDV Ha Dong Branch, BIDV Treasury Management and Services Center organized the launching ceremony of Ha Dong Treasury Transfer Point (Ha Dong HUB) with the participation of BIDV leaders, representatives of partner credit institutions and all HUB staff.

The launch of HUB Ha Dong is an important step in BIDV's strategy to streamline the apparatus and improve the efficiency of treasury management - especially in the context that the State Bank has abandoned satellite warehouses.

Ha Dong HUB plays a central role in regulating and balancing cash resources in the western region of Hanoi , helping to shorten transportation time, promptly meet transaction needs and reduce treasury work for branches.

The highlight of HUB Ha Dong is the comprehensive application of digital technology in operation and management. Internal transactions are carried out through the digital signature system and B.CASH software, helping to process quickly, safely and accurately. HUB operates according to the "paperless office" model, all processes are digitized, decentralized by function and monitored online, ensuring transparency, security and efficiency.

According to Mr. Pham Van Dung - Head of HUB Ha Dong, in the first phase, HUB serves 28 transaction offices and 35 automatic transaction machines, manages cash, collateral and important seals for units in the area. HUB also supports other credit institutions, contributing to expanding the scope of BIDV's treasury services.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Tuyet Hanh - Director of BIDV Treasury Management and Services Center - emphasized: "Putting the Ha Dong Treasury Transfer Point into operation will contribute to speeding up cash transaction processing, ensuring safety, continuity and efficiency throughout the system."

Mr. Trinh Minh Tam - Director of BIDV Ha Dong Branch - affirmed that the HUB model will help the branch improve its service capacity and bring faster and more professional service experiences to customers.

The launch of HUB Ha Dong affirms BIDV's new step in the journey of digitizing treasury operations, creating a foundation for more centralized, transparent and intelligent cash management in the digital banking era.

In 2025, the Treasury Management and Services Center has gone live with the Cash and Treasury Management and Operations System (B.CASH) - a comprehensive digital solution for treasury management, built by BIDV's own staff. The project is based on three main pillars: cost savings, operational optimization and security assurance. B.CASH not only serves internally but also opens up a direction for the development of pioneering professional treasury services. To date, BIDV is developing an industry-level scientific topic with the theme "Digitizing treasury operations at the Vietnamese commercial banking system - Case study at BIDV and recommendations for the Vietnamese banking system" to bring a pioneering, breakthrough solution in improving the efficiency of treasury management activities at Vietnamese banks.
