MB Border Guard successfully defended their title at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

The MB Border Guard men's volleyball team defeated The Cong Tan Cang 3-2 in the final match held on the evening of October 15th, successfully defending their national volleyball championship title.

The match was dramatic, with both teams chasing each point, but foreign player Rivan made the difference, helping The Cong-Tan Cang win the first set with a score of 25-21.

Despite consistently trailing in set 2, Van Hiep and Ngoc Thuan shone brightly, helping Border Guard MB win dramatically 31-29 to level the score at 1-1.

Riding on a wave of momentum, coach Tran Dinh Tien's team easily won set 3 with a score of 25-20, but The Cong-Tan Cang quickly regained their composure to win set 4 26-24, leveling the score at 2-2.

In set 5, MB Border Guard showed consistency, consistently leading to win 15-12, thus winning the match 3-2 overall.

MB Border Guard became the third team in history to successfully defend their national championship title (after Ho Chi Minh City and Trang An Ninh Binh). This is the fourth championship title in the history of Border Guard volleyball, including the second consecutive championship.
