Korean sexy icon comes to HCMC to perform with Karik, tlinh

On October 14, the Organizing Committee of the GENfest Music Festival announced the list of performing artists this year, attracting the attention of the audience. Accordingly, 2 Korean artists will be present at the music night taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on November 24-25: Hwasa and LOCO.

Hwasa was born in 1995, known as the "new generation sex symbol" of Korea, famous for her fiery, daring performances.

Not only standing out in the MAMAMOO group, Hwasa also has personal hits such as Maria, Twit... She was honored by Forbes in the 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2021, and was ranked by Gallup Korea as one of the most famous Kpop idols for 2 consecutive years 2019 and 2020.

LOCO is also a Korean rapper that Vietnamese audiences are looking forward to at GENfest this year. He is the champion of the first season of Show me the money , owning hits such as: Hold me tight, Too much ... In 2018, LOCO and Hwasa collaborated on the famous song Don't , which currently has nearly 130 million views on YouTube.

Besides the two names from Kpop, the organizers also announced 8 Vietnamese artists who will perform at this year's music festival, including: Suboi, Karik, Andree Right Hand, Wren Evans, tlinh, Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic and WXRDIE.

Taking on the role of music director and stage designer are producer SlimV and director Viet Anh. The music festival takes the theme "Street in the Street", conveying the message of a journey to discover miniature universes in the heart of the city. There, each street corner carries its own unique stories, personalities and colors.

This is the second year the GENfest Music Festival has been held. In the first season in 2023, the program made its mark with the participation of Korean stars such as HyunA, Zico and Gen Z singers HIEUTHUHAI, tlinh, Wren Evans, Phao... During the 2 days of the festival, the event attracted about 30,000 young audiences.
