Minister Nguyen Kim Son chaired the conference. Also attending were Permanent Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong; Deputy Ministers Nguyen Van Phuc, Hoang Minh Son, Nguyen Thi Kim Chi; Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Viet Loc; President of the Vietnam Education Trade Union Nguyen Ngoc An; and leaders of units under and directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education and Training .
At the conference, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the decisions on awarding commendations.
Accordingly, in Decision No. 1099/QD-BGDĐT dated April 23, 2025, five collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Education and Training, including: the Department of Physical Education (now the Department of Students); the Department of Legal Affairs; the Department of International Cooperation; the Office of the Party Committee (now the Office of the Party Committee); the Office of the Department of Information Technology (now the Office of the Department of Science, Technology and Information); and the International Relations Division, Department of International Cooperation.
According to Decision No. 1101/QD-BGDĐT dated April 23, 2025, five collectives were awarded Certificates of Commendation for outstanding performance in 2023 and 2024, including: the Department of Teachers and Educational Management Staff; the Legal Affairs Department; the Teacher and Educational Management Staff Policy Division, Department of Teachers and Educational Management Staff; the General Affairs Division, Office; and the Examination Management Division, Department of Quality Management.
The title of "Outstanding Emulation Soldier at the Ministerial Level" was awarded to 14 individuals from the Ministry of Education and Training who had achieved outstanding results in their work from 2022 to 2024 (including 2 individuals from the Inspectorate who have since transferred to other positions).
Minister Nguyen Kim Son congratulated the collectives and individuals who received prestigious titles. The Minister also extended congratulations to the unit for successfully completing its grassroots Party Congress; and congratulated the individuals who received decisions regarding their new positions within the past six months.
