Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son has just signed a decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy to the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation.
Before being transferred and appointed, Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy was Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy was born in 1975. She graduated from Foreign Trade University in 1997, graduated with a Master's degree from the Vietnam - Netherlands Development Economics Master's Program in 1999. She has a Master's degree in Financial Management in the Netherlands in 2004; a PhD in Finance in the Netherlands in 2008.
Ms. Thuy was appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2012.
Ms. Thuy has 20 years of experience as a lecturer at Foreign Trade University and has held management positions such as Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Vice Principal of the school. In 2019, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education. In 2020, she was appointed Acting Director.
