Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated that there are currently approximately 250 Vietnamese citizens in Nepal. Regarding recent developments in Nepal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed the Vietnamese Embassy in India, which also covers Nepal, to closely monitor the situation, urgently work with local authorities to gather information and assess the possibility of Vietnamese citizens being in distress, and request that the security and safety of Vietnamese citizens in Nepal be ensured.
