The Wall held its first concert in the theater.

The band Bức Tường has announced a concert at the Hồ Gươm Theater, with ticket prices expected to be higher than for previous performances.

The "Unplugged Wall - May Rain" project was conceived in 2012, following a meeting between the late artist Tran Lap, guitarist Tran Tuan Hung, and musician Tran Thanh Phuong in Hanoi .

However, only now has Bức Tường had all the necessary elements to realize the project. These include time, experience, a story of ups and downs, technical expertise, and the support of the team and close friends.

At the concert, Bức Tường will tell the story of their 29-year journey with 29 newly arranged, emotionally charged songs that audiences rarely encounter. Notably, this is the first concert Bức Tường has held in a theater setting.

Addressing concerns that audiences might not be able to freely express their emotions when listening to rock music in a theater, guitarist Tran Tuan Hung believes that audiences will not be confined to their seats but can clap, stand up, dance, or even run onto the stage to express their excitement during the concert.

Revealing details about the ticket prices for this concert, a representative from the organizing committee stated that the average price is expected to be significantly different from previous events.

"According to our estimates, even if the average ticket price increases 3, 4, or 5 times, the total cost of organizing the event will still exceed revenue, meaning we are still operating at a loss," the representative shared.

Adding further on this, guitarist Tran Tuan Hung said: "The band Buc Tuong still has outdoor performances for large audiences, with affordable ticket prices as always, but there are also shows that are truly well-invested and require appropriate ticket prices. Hopefully, this time the price will be 'too cheap' compared to what the audience receives."

The concert "Unplugged Wall – May Rain" is scheduled to take place on the evening of October 27th.
