Ready for the Tet season...
The Dray Sap - Gia Long eco-tourism area in Dak Sor commune, Krong No district, is an attractive destination in Dak Nong province. With its system of waterfalls, lakes, and natural forests, along with convenient transportation access, the Dray Sap - Gia Long eco-tourism area typically welcomes a large number of visitors, including those from other provinces, during the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the management of the Dray Sap - Gia Long Eco- tourism Area, to serve the needs of visitors and tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, the unit has implemented the decoration of the space and developed ideas for some cultural and artistic activities and folk games for the Tet holiday.
“During Tet 2024, we launched kayaking and gong performances by indigenous ethnic minorities. These activities will continue to be organized during this year's Tet holiday, with gong performances taking place continuously for 5 days, aiming to provide exciting experiences for tourists visiting and relaxing here,” informed the leader of the Dray Sap - Gia Long Eco-tourism Area.

The Dak G'lun eco-tourism area in Quang Tam commune, Tuy Duc district, is also actively preparing for the Lunar New Year 2025.
Currently, the tourist area has undergone repairs and improvements to several facilities such as roads, parking lots, the "cloud garden," the archery competition area, and the grass-sliding area. Notably, this year the Dak G'lun Eco-tourism Area has prepared over 70 rooms to accommodate visitors from all over.
Mr. Luong Thanh Tai, manager of the Dak G'lun Eco-tourism Area, shared that the area will be decorated with many beautiful miniature landscapes and recreational spaces such as apricot, peach, and chrysanthemum gardens, a pedal boat lake, etc. This aims to contribute to creating a spring atmosphere and providing novelty for tourists visiting and enjoying themselves.
"Currently, the tourist area has prepared all the necessary conditions , ready to serve tourists for sightseeing, recreation, entertainment, and dining. We hope that this Tet holiday, the tourist area will be an ideal destination for tourists from within and outside Dak Nong province," Mr. Tai expressed his expectations.

Focusing on quality and experience.
Currently, tourist areas and attractions, as well as many homestays and farmstays in Dak Nong province, are busy decorating and building new scenic spots. A positive sign is that many tourist areas and attractions have focused on investing in infrastructure, decorating spaces, innovating menus, and refreshing services for this longest holiday of the year.
To offer visitors unique photo opportunities, Ta Dung Tourist Area in Dak Som commune, Dak Glong district, has arranged nearly 500 pots of chrysanthemums and Korean chrysanthemums throughout the tourist area. All the chrysanthemums were purchased directly from Sa Dec flower village ( Dong Thap province), blooming just in time for the Lunar New Year.

According to Mr. Hoang Viet Hung, an employee at Ta Dung Tourist Area, as in previous years, tourist areas and homestays in Dak Som will welcome a large number of visitors for spring holidays, relaxation, and experiences. This is also the time that brings the most promising revenue for businesses, so decorating and designing check-in points is a way to attract tourists to the area.
"In addition to 15 well-equipped rooms, this resort has set up many tents and campsites so that visitors can spend the night and enjoy the atmosphere and weather of Ta Dung in spring," the male employee added.
Similarly, Cái Gùi homestay in Đắk Som commune, Đắk Glong district, is finalizing preparations to serve tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025.

Aimed at out-of-province tourists seeking rest and relaxation, Cai Gui homestay has planned to implement several special activities such as climbing Elephant Waterfall, taking a boat trip to admire the "Nho Que River in Dak Nong," harvesting organic vegetables, and experiencing the gong culture and cuisine of the Ma and M'nong ethnic groups.
This is the second year our unit has welcomed tourists during the Lunar New Year. Currently, some guests have already booked rooms for their stay. We advise them to choose some local dishes and enjoy gong music and rice wine to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Mr. Le Minh Phat, manager of Cai Gui homestay
Increase tourism revenue.
In addition to decorating the space for Tet (Lunar New Year) and preparing essential conditions such as food, accommodation, and experiential games, many tourism establishments are also proactively bringing agricultural and rural products from Dak Nong province into their souvenir stalls.
Souvenir stalls not only facilitate shopping for tourists but also help to spread agricultural and rural products to more places. In particular, OCOP products will inspire and attract tourists to the locality.

Currently, Eva Village eco-tourism area in Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia city, has set aside a dedicated space to display and introduce OCOP products from Dak Nong province. These are all products that have been carefully invested in terms of appearance and quality, suitable as souvenirs for tourists after their trip to Dak Nong.
Mr. Tran Anh Duc, manager of Eva Eco Village, said that the unit has partnered with several businesses and cooperatives in Dak Nong province to supply agricultural products such as macadamia nuts, pepper, dried agricultural products, etc. In addition, Eva Village also displays and introduces some essential oil products produced by the unit itself. These products are highly appreciated by tourists from within and outside the province for their quality and price.
Mr. Duc said: “The unit is actively preparing for the Lunar New Year. Currently, all rooms at Eva Village have been booked for stays from the 25th day of the 12th lunar month of 2024 to the 10th day of the 1st lunar month of 2025. We hope that this year's revenue from tourism will be higher than last year.”

For the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, the industry aims to attract approximately 90,000 visitors, a 20% increase compared to the 2024 holiday, with revenue of around 29 billion VND, also nearly 20% higher.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Anh, Head of Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism
Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong province has issued a document requesting tourist areas and destinations to implement safe, healthy, and high-quality sightseeing and exploration activities.
At tourist destinations with rivers, lakes, waterfalls, etc., tourism facilities must be well-prepared with rescue equipment and personnel. The goal at all tourist sites and areas is to ensure absolute safety for tourists so they can enjoy themselves safely and happily.
