Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that Lam Dong is blessed with a rich landscape, from plateaus, mountains, forests, rapids, lakes and streams to sea and islands. In particular, Ta Dung tourist area with more than 40 islands floating in the middle of a poetic lake is likened to "Ha Long Bay on the plateau". These natural advantages help Lam Dong develop a variety of typical tourism types such as: mountain climbing, paragliding, rafting, windsurfing or diving to see coral.
Mr. Vo Thanh Huy affirmed that this is a unique advantage, contributing to affirming the adventure - eco-tourism brand of Lam Dong as well as the entire South Central Coast and Central Highlands region.

Recently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism organized a conference to contribute ideas to the draft National Standard "Adventure Tourism - Terms and Definitions". The conference gathered many managers, experts, businesses, and provincial associations to contribute ideas to complete the draft, contributing to promoting adventure tourism to develop in a safe, professional and sustainable direction. During the tourism survey trip in Lam Dong, Mr. Tran Son Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai said that the delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the management model and organization of adventure tourism products - a rapidly developing field but requiring special safety and health protection for tourists. The experiences Lam Dong shared on state management, the role of businesses, human resource training and incident response are practical lessons for the Northwestern provinces to study and apply appropriately to local conditions.

Expanding inter-regional cooperation
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in recent years, Lam Dong has made efforts to invest in and upgrade transport infrastructure, especially aviation, develop tourism facilities, diversify products and promote promotion and cooperation at home and abroad. In September 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa and the Lam Dong Tourism Association organized a survey of key destinations in the province. Mr. Tran Minh Duc - Head of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association said that the goal is to build a tourism product connecting 3 typical highlights: Nha Trang Beach - Bao Loc Tea - Da Lat Flowers.
Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa are both ideal destinations for domestic and foreign tourists to visit, relax and experience. If exploited properly, the combination of the two localities will create an attractive tourist itinerary, helping visitors explore the diversity of geography and culture in just one trip. The difference in climate and terrain, from warm coastal sunshine to cool highland air, brings rich and unique experiences.
In addition, Lam Dong also promotes cooperation with major markets such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai... The arrangement of new administrative units helps the province integrate many tourism resources and increase investment connections. Connection and cooperation in the new period will bring opportunities for both state management agencies and enterprises to achieve the goal of large quantity and high quality.

In recent times, Lam Dong has coordinated with localities to organize many famtrips to experience tourism from the sea to the forest, exploring the space of tea culture, gongs of the Central Highlands and Cham culture. This activity demonstrates the proactiveness of the tourism industry in cooperating with key markets, building stimulus programs, promoting and developing inter-regional tours with distinctive brands.
After a survey trip to connect tourism between Hanoi and the Central Highlands provinces, Ms. Nhu Thi Ngan - General Director of Hanoi Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company commented: To promote regional tourism links, localities and businesses need to exploit the unique cultural values of each region and each ethnic group. From there, create uniformity, consistency, form attractive tourism products, encourage tourists to stay longer and return many times. Because the connection is not just "addition" between localities, but importantly, it is necessary to find unique cultural values that touch the emotions of tourists.
