Meanwhile, the Central Highlands of Vietnam includes 5 provinces: Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Dak Nong - a land rich in potential, with many beautiful natural landscapes, temperate climate; the capital of industrial crops such as coffee, tea, silk, pepper... This is an important basis for developing high-quality tourism services; high-tech agricultural production associated with the agricultural preservation and processing industry.

In Lam Dong province alone, many products have been registered to establish certification trademarks and collective trademarks, such as: B'Lao Tea, Di Linh Coffee, Langbiang Arabica Coffee, Da Lat Vegetables, Da Lat Flowers...
Mr. Duong Quoc Anh - Director of Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center - said that in the trend of integration and development of the market economy, cooperation in business development, market expansion, and seeking opportunities to promote existing advantages of enterprises is necessary. This trade connection program is one of three activities within the framework of the organization of the Business and Investment Cooperation Conference between Lam Dong province and India.
Therefore, with this program, Lam Dong province hopes to create an interactive space, helping businesses from both sides introduce information about their products, services and cooperation. From there, there will be a direction for connection to develop together in the future.
At the ceremony, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City - shared that this is the first time more than 40 businesses from 8 states of India and 2 associations have come to Da Lat City. These businesses operate in the fields of agriculture, pharmaceuticals, agricultural machinery, information technology, tourism, education and aim to develop trade relations with Vietnamese businesses.
Currently, bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and India has achieved many good results and still has much potential for development.
