According to Box Office Vietnam data, the film "Red Rain" reached the 700 billion VND mark on September 25th. Since its official release on August 22nd, 2025, the film has continuously surpassed the revenue milestones previously set by other films.

"Red Rain" is considered a highlight of the People's Army Cinema, being the highest-grossing Vietnamese revolutionary war film by a female director; the film attracted over 8 million viewers to theaters, many of whom watched it multiple times.

Lieutenant Colonel, Meritorious Artist, director Dang Thai Huyen and the cast contributed to the success of the film "Red Rain".

Lieutenant Colonel, Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen, Deputy Director of the People's Army Film Studio and director of the film "Red Rain," shared: "After more than a month since the film's release and the enthusiastic response from the audience, today we can proudly say that the entire 'Red Rain' team has completed its mission with the utmost effort and dedication."

The female director also emotionally expressed that it's wonderful when a work is released to the public and loved by the audience: "We are grateful to all the viewers, news agencies, distributors, and theaters who have accompanied 'Red Rain' throughout this amazing journey. Every screening, every sorrowful glance, every tear shed, every word of encouragement or enthusiastic feedback for 'Red Rain' has given us more motivation to confidently pursue film projects about revolutionary war, history, and our homeland... In the future, on a new journey, a new story, cinema and the love for the place where we were born and raised will always be the bridge that connects us again."

The screenings of the film "Red Rain" attracted a large number of young viewers.
