Can Tho: Consider special treatment for candidates hospitalized before high school graduation exam day

(NLDO) - The first day of the 2025 high school graduation exam in Can Tho city took place safely and in accordance with regulations.

On June 26, the 2025 High School Graduation Examination Council (Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City) announced that in the math exam in the afternoon of the same day, 49 candidates were absent from the exam.

Candidates in Can Tho City were happy after finishing the first day of exams.

Among them, there was 1 student who was sick and had to be hospitalized before the exam day, the exam score will be studied to make special consideration procedures for the candidate. In addition, there were 2 candidates who requested leave of absence from the exam and left the locality (the school tried to persuade them many times but failed), 5 students were exempted from the exam.

Some students who study both college and general education have been recognized as completing the general education program in college and do not need to take the high school graduation exam.

The examination council determined that the first day of the exam took place safely, in accordance with regulations, and without any violations by candidates.

In the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Can Tho has nearly 13,800 candidates participating in the exam. All stages of preparing conditions and resources for the exam, caring for and supporting candidates are focused on implementation.
