The vibrant student life
Chung Bach Xuyen was born and raised in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. After graduating from high school, Xuyen chose to apply to the Economic Law program at the Eastern University of Technology and is currently a fourth-year student.
Xuyen said that she hardly participated in any activities during high school. Entering university was a major turning point that changed her life later on. Xuyen became more involved in the school's Youth Union and Student Association activities and became more active.
Xuyen began actively participating in student movements during her early years at university.
In her first year of university, Xuyen was quite overwhelmed by having to make new friends and adapt to a new environment. However, Xuyen actively participated in various movements, such as being a member of the arts club, the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, and the university's Exam Support Program. These were considered Xuyen's first steps in participating in student activities during her university years.
In her second year of university, Xuyen began setting higher goals, actively participating in vibrant activities, and was elected Vice President of the Student Union of the Eastern University of Technology.
Around this time, Xuyen also received numerous commendations and titles, such as: Outstanding Student at the provincial and national levels, a commendation from the Ministry of Education and Training, Outstanding Cadre of Dong Nai Province, and a commendation from the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association for outstanding achievements in student association work and student movements…
Xuyen said: "To achieve this, I always focused on the criteria of 'Excellent Student,' then set goals, broke them down into smaller parts, and tried to follow them. I tried to do scientific research, participate in sports events, competitions, and international exchange programs…".

Become an exemplary young citizen.
Despite her excellent extracurricular activities, Xuyen never forgot her main responsibility: to excel in her studies. Therefore, in her second and third years of university, Xuyen consistently maintained outstanding academic performance with exceptional grades and received a scholarship from the school.
Xuyen said: "I always balance and allocate my time specifically between studying and extracurricular activities. When studying, I always put my whole mind into it, and when participating in activities, I always discipline myself and stick to the plans I've set."
Xuyen believes that participating in activities is the best way for students to acquire additional skills and knowledge for self-development. This, in turn, provides motivation to find their desired job after graduation.
In mid-July, Xuyen was honored as one of the Outstanding Young People of Dong Nai Province in 2023.
In July 2023, the biggest surprise for Xuyen was being honored as an Outstanding Young Person of Dong Nai Province. "I feel happy, excited, and very proud because all my efforts have been rewarded. Thanks to this title, I must try even harder, improve my skills and knowledge, and not become complacent," Xuyen said.
Sharing her vision for the future, Xuyen hopes to pursue postgraduate studies after graduation and return to the university to become a lecturer in economic law. Xuyen also advised new students to always set goals for their lives and studies. She urged them not to waste precious time during their student years, as this is the time to learn and improve themselves.
