Big fire at bar in Hanoi, many properties burned down

According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (PCCC-CNCH) of Ba Dinh District Police, at around 7 p.m., a large fire broke out at Star 3 bar on Pho Duc Chinh Street (Truc Bach Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi ).

At the time, the house on fire contained many flammable materials such as wood, paint and other construction materials, so the fire quickly broke out and created a thick column of black smoke.

Authorities dispatched many fire trucks to the scene.

Upon receiving the news, authorities dispatched about 7 fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire.

Initial information shows that by nearly 10 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. There were no reported casualties, however, many properties in the house were burned down.

One person was injured at the scene of the fire.

Previously, to prevent the fire from spreading, local authorities evacuated some residents living around the area near the scene of the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
