Big fire at the center of a high-rise building under construction in Da Nang

On the morning of October 4, a large fire broke out at the Nguyen Kim Complex Building Center Project (Hai Phong Street, Da Nang City).

According to observations by VNA reporters at the scene, black smoke suddenly billowed from the first floor of the Nguyen Kim Complex Building Center Project, darkening a large area on the outside of the upper floors.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department ( Da Nang City Police) promptly mobilized vehicles and human resources to the scene to control the fire.

By around 11am on October 4, the fire had been basically extinguished; there were no statistics on human and property damage.

It is known that Nguyen Kim Complex Building Center is invested by Nguyen Kim Trading Joint Stock Company. At the time of the fire, this project was still under construction.

Authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident.
