During the past term, the Secretariat of the Tra Vinh Newspaper Journalists Association achieved all the set targets. The activities of the Secretariat continued to be well-organized, creating conditions for members to interact, exchange experiences, and jointly complete assigned tasks.
The members constantly strive, train, and improve their political qualities and professional skills, gradually asserting themselves through practical journalistic activities, making important contributions to the development of Tra Vinh Newspaper, the Tra Vinh Provincial Journalists Association in particular, and the journalistic activities of the province in general.

During the past term, 195 authors participated in 443 entries for various journalism awards, including the "Exemplary Good People and Good Deeds" award (now the "Writing about Tra Vinh Homeland" award), the high-quality journalism award, the journalism award on the Mekong Delta, the national journalism award on Party building (the "Golden Hammer and Sickle" award), the journalism award on Youth Union work and children's movements; the "Creating and promoting literary and journalistic works on the theme: Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh " competition in Tra Vinh province for the period 2021-2025 (Phase I), and the journalism award on new rural development... resulting in over 60 awards across various categories.
Nearly 120 members, including officials, reporters, and editors, participated in training courses and professional development programs both within and outside the province. This contributed to improving the professional skills, expertise, and quality of journalistic works of Tra Vinh Newspaper (Vietnamese and Khmer versions) and Tra Vinh Online, meeting the increasingly high demands of readers and the assigned political tasks.
Delivering a guiding speech at the congress, Comrade Son Hung, Vice Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial Journalists Association and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tra Vinh Newspaper, instructed the Branch Secretariat to continue mobilizing members to effectively carry out the political tasks of the agency and the emulation movements of the Provincial Journalists Association; and to effectively implement the 10 Regulations on Professional Ethics for Vietnamese Journalists and the Code of Conduct for Journalists on Social Media Use.

To create opportunities for members to improve their political and professional skills, participate in activities, exchanges, and professional training organized by the Tra Vinh Newspaper and the Provincial Journalists Association. To encourage members to fully participate in competitions organized by the province, the Provincial Journalists Association, and regional competitions, especially the "Golden Hammer and Sickle" Award.
Participate in writing articles for the Tra Vinh Journalists' Special Issue; strengthen regular relationships with other branches so that members have the opportunity to meet, exchange information, and learn from each other's experiences; periodically organize branch meetings and professional activities with rich and beneficial content; pay attention to recruiting and developing members according to regulations; regularly check the members' compliance with the Association's Charter; participate in building the Party branch and the agency to become increasingly strong.
The Congress elected the Secretariat of the Tra Vinh Newspaper Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term, consisting of 3 members; Ms. Thach Thi Soc Kha, Head of the Khmer Editorial Department, was elected by the Congress to hold the position of Secretary of the Association.
